Living wage employer

Living Wage Employer Logo

The Living Wage is a voluntary, independently calculated rate based on what people need to earn to cover everyday essentials like housing, food, and transport. Unlike the government’s National Minimum Wage, the Living Wage reflects the real cost of living and is designed to ensure workers can meet their basic needs.

RYR is a proud Living Wage employer and demonstrates:

  • A Commitment to Fair Pay: The company pays all employees, including subcontractors, the real Living Wage, which is higher than the statutory minimum.

  • Ethical Standards: The business prioritises the wellbeing of its workforce and actively supports measures to reduce in-work poverty.

  • Positive Impact: Living Wage employers contribute to improved employee morale, higher productivity, and lower staff turnover.

Being accredited is a mark of leadership in social responsibility, and it helps build trust with employees, customers, and the wider community.
